AWARDS?? WE dont need no stinking awards!! Oh yes I DO!!

Every good, ok and some bad, sites have awards. Here I will share those I win with pride. Along with web-based awards will be scanned images of awards (if any, keeping fingers crossed) I win during the show season.
My family says I'm flamboyant, and this is where I get to prove it!

Yipee!! Awarded 19 April 2001. Thanks

Whew! What a girl has to do to get attention. Well, Miss Molly didn't win anything at the Southwind Covette Club's show, BUT, we cruised to Sonic afterwards and won twice!! We received a brown bag special for Miss Molly and another for my PLUM colored hair!!! Yes, I said PLUM!! Did I mention I was a little outrageous, just a little.
The show circuit has been great fun. I've met wonderful people and seen great rides!! Too bad the season is almost over, but winter is the time for makeovers. And Good Golly, what will we look like next year?!

IN THE NEWS:
Every US Citizen was affected by the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, including me.
As our FAA grounded all flights across the country, I found myself worrying about job security, as I work for an aircraft ferrying company. Then the rumors rolled in about gas prices skyrocketing. With only two gas stations in town and a nearly empty tank, I left work midday to fill up before the lines started. Well, my first stop yielded a 30 min wait, only to be within three cars of the pumps and find out the pumps could'nt handle the load and shut down. So I made way to the other station. The results are seen in the photo below. 30 minutes later, and car running on fumes I finally made it to a pump.
I extend my appreciation and pride to all those in this litle town who held there tempers and waiting patiently to fuel up.
God bless America and the World.
Christie
